Seattle Seahawks to hire Brian Schottenheimer as offensive coordinator

The Seattle Seahawks are expected to hire former Indianapolis Colts quarterbacks coach Brian Schottenheimer as their offensive coordinator, a league source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schottenheimer, 44, had been the Colts’ QB coach since 2016. Prior to that, he served stints as offensive coordinator for the Jets (2006-11) and Rams (2012-14).

Schottenheimer’s father is longtime NFL coach Marty Schottenheimer, who worked with Seahawks general manager John Schneider in Kansas City and Washington.

Information from ESPN’s Brady Henderson was used in this report.
